The End Is Where We Start From

What we call the beginning is often the end. And to make an end is to make a beginning…

~T.S. Eliot

True to the words of T.S. Eliot, the end, in our case, is nothing less than a good, great, perhaps marvelous beginning. July 1st, 2012 marks the new beginning of our not-so-newly-wed lives. This date will be the day we leave our beloved home state to venture into a world unknown to us both. This will be the first day we experience something completely new together, something neither of us expected. This will be the first day we are allowed to make choices that are entirely for ourselves.

After living and working in Vermont for a year after our wedding, we have both quit our jobs, sold our belongings, entrusted our precious kittens to our mother, and are now more than ready for our “great escape”. It’s not that our lives were entrapped, but this escape will be the end of our wanting and the beginning of our doing.

So here it is! The beginning. We are about to embark on a year-long pursuit of new learning, personal discovery and, hopefully, a little bit of trouble. To our most favored friends and family who we will miss dearly, please be assured that all worth-while adventurous tales, traveling tips, and unavoidable photo opts (aka “shots”) will be recorded here. We sincerely hope you’ll follow along and keep in touch.

With love,

Jeremy & Julie
