A few things to you may not have known about Bolivia:

Bolivia is in South America — not that country in Eastern Europe…that’s some place else.

Bolivia is home to the highest capital city in the world, La Paz, sitting at 11,800 ft (3,600 meters) above sea level.

Bolivians speak Spanish, Quechua, Aymara, and Guarani. — We will be learning and speaking Spanish (I think).

Bolivia is one of the least developed countries in South America with almost two-thirds of its people living in poverty.

Bolivian’s favorite colors are red, yellow and green — judging entirely by their flag…this may not be true.

Bolivian’s favorite dish is guinea pig (so I’m told by an American).

And last but not least, Bolivia is home to over 50 species of endemic  amphibians in need of some serious research!

This post is dedicated to everyone who has shamelessly admitted to knowing nothing about  Bolivia.
